Since getting into rabbits, I love trying out new rabbit recipes so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this one. I love recipes that are easy to make and this is definitely one of them. I hope you all enjoy this recipe, as much as my family and I do!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 rabbit fryer, cut up
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 8 – 9 ounces spaghetti
INSTRUCTIONS
- Put rabbit in salted boiling water, cover and simmer until tender. Remove meat from broth and set broth aside.
- Remove meat from bones, if desired.
- Add the onion, tomato paste,garlic salt, oregano, bay leaves, sugar, salt and pepper to rabbit broth and simmer for 1 hour.
- Cook spaghetti.
- Return rabbit to reduced broth and serve on a bed of spaghetti.
- Serve and enjoy!
